Ive tried to change my IP adress about 6 times tonight...



does anybody know how to change it with a comcast issued Modem?

To release and renew your IP address:



Go to ';Start %26gt; Run'; and type ';cmd'; (without quotation marks), then select ';OK';

2 Type ';ipconfig /release'; (without quotation marks) and press ';Enter';

3 Once the prompt returns, type ';ipconfig /renew'; (without quotation marks), then hit ';Enter,';

4Last, type ';exit'; (without quotation marks) then press ';Enter'; to close the window.
