How to change IP address?

I need to change IP so i can be on habboHow to change IP address?
If you want to change to a static IP address (one that you know will work with your subnet) go to:

Start %26gt; Settings %26gt; Control Panel %26gt; Network Connections

Right click the connection you want to change the IP of %26gt; Properties %26gt; Choose TCP/IP from the list on the first tab and choose settings.

There you can choose the IP and the default gateway, if you don't like static IPs you can always change back to Automatic by choosing the respective radial button. How to change IP address?
You cant change your IP address

If you are a residental user with a dynamic address you can attempt a releae and renew but if your IP Lease isnt expired you will only obtain the same IP from the pool.

To attempt click start -%26gt; run then type ';cmd'; and hit ok

In the block dos prompt type:

ipconfig /all

(note the DHCP Lease peroid, it will show you when your lease expires, this is typically when you will get a new IP address)

You can attempt a release and renew, but 99.99% chance you'll get the same ip

type: IPCONFIG/RELEASE

then,

IPCONFIG/RENEW

you could also try releasing your ip and letting it sit for a few hours, then renew after waiting (hiping someone else picked up your IP in the meantime thus giving you a new IP)

I would try two things.

1.

';Try this.

Here's how to do it in windows:

1. Click Start

2. Click run

3. In the run box type cmd.exe and click OK

4. When the command prompt opens type the following. ENTER after each new line.

ipconfig /flushdns

ipconfig /release

ipconfig /renew

exit';

If that doesn't work, unplug your computer from your DSL modem, unplug the modem, wait 5 minutes, then plug everything back together. Restart your computer.
Since you IP address is assigned by your ISP (Internet Service Provider) this very hard to do! About the only way is to use a Proxy Server. The easiest way to find one would be to Google ';Free Proxy Server'; (include the quotes, otherwise you will get a pile of trash). Most have detailed instructions to show you how to set up your browser.
