How to change ip location?

Hello everyone,

I want change my ip to appear as if i was in another country (in Europe preferably Bosnia and Herzegovina). now since there are no proxies for Bosnia i was wondering is there any way i can change my ip address to make it appear as if i was in Bosnia?

Any help would be much appreciated. How to change ip location?
Proxy servers are dangerous and mainly run by hackers. Please stay away from them. I know of no legitimate VPN services that have service in Bosnia. However these guys have service in the UK and Ireland if that helps at all. http://www.surfbouncer.com.How to change ip location?
Start looking up web proxy servers. Or use foxy proxy for firefox. Good luck finding one in Bosnia though I was unable to. Searching for free web proxys is a good way to start though.
Try these awesome proxies to unblock blocked websites and stream videos!

method of changing your IP address would be to use a proxy server, which is basically a server that re-routes your Internet traffic. If it's an ';anonymous'; proxy server, websites will only see the IP address of the server and not yours. One advantage of a good anonymous proxy is that it not only changes your apparent IP address, but also changes the geographic location of your IP address to that of the server.

To find some proxy server settings, do a Google search for something like ';free proxy list'; and you'll find a bunch of sites listing IP addresses along with port numbers. To use these settings, you'll need to configure your browser, and most of those website will probably have instructions for doing so. However, before you delve too deeply into public proxy servers, be aware of the drawbacks and risks:

* Free and working proxy servers are very hard to find due to overuse and abuse. Even those that you do find may disappear after a couple minutes.

* ';Public proxy servers'; may not be truly public. Some open proxies are only open because of a careless configuration, or they could possibly be open because a hacker or a virus opened ports on the server without the owners knowledge. This could lead to legal issues about using the server without permission.

* Because proxy servers re-route your Internet data, the server operators have access to your data, which creates a perfect way for criminals to steal passwords. This is made easier by the fact that it's almost impossible to find proxies that support SSL (secure connection).

Before trying these methods, be sure to delete your browser cookies so that websites cannot continue tracking you that way. To clear your cookies on Internet Explorer, you'll go to the dropdown menu for Tools-%26gt;Internet Options -%26gt; General Tab -%26gt; Delete Cookies. Then restart Internet Explorer. To delete cookies in Firefox, you'll go to Tools -%26gt; Clear Private Data -%26gt; make sure you have ';Cookies'; checked, and click ';Clear';. There's no need to restart Firefox.

Step

2We'll start with the most obvious ways to change your IP address, which would include logging onto the Internet from a location other than your current one. You could use your laptop at an Internet cafe or a public library that offers free Wifi. That's a simple way to change your IP, but a bit inconvenient. Another easy way to change your IP address would apply if you have a dialup ISP. Simply redialing, or dialing up through a different access number, will almost always give you a new IP address.

Also in the ';obvious'; category would be the fee-based services that simplify the process of changing your IP address, such as iPrivacyTools.com ( http://www.iprivacytools.com ).

Step

3This section applies to users on broadband cable or DSL connections. I've heard that some ISP's will issue a new IP address after you simply turn your modem off for a few hours or overnight. However, that has never worked for me, and it's quite inconvenient as well. Give it a try if you wish, but there is definitely a better way. Start by first turning off your modem. If you're using a router, disconnect it and plug your computer directly into the modem. This process is possible with a router, but with so many different configurations, eliminating the router for few minutes will simplify things.

* Turn you're modem back on, and when you have a connection go to a site like http://www.findmyipaddress.com

* Make a note of your current IP address. This way you'll know whether or not it has changed when we're done.

* Now, go to your START menu -%26gt; click ';Run'; -%26gt; type ';cmd'; into the box -%26gt; and hit ';OK';.

* At the prompt type ';ipconfig /release'; and then hit ';Enter'; (note the space after ';ipconfig';).

* Now go back to your START menu -%26gt; go to ';Connect To'; -%26gt; click ';Show all connections';.

* Right click on the LAN or ';Local Area Connection'; icon and click ';Properties';.

* Highlight ';Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)'; and click ';Properties';.

* Check ';Use the following IP address'; and enter a bunch of 1's for the ';IP address';, and 255.0.0.0 for ';Subnet mask';.

* Click ';OK'; and then ';Close'; to exit the dialog box.

* Now, wait a minute or so for your connection to refresh.

* Follow the same process as above to go back to the previous dialog box where you entered the IP address.

* This time check the box for ';obtain an IP address automatically';.

* Then click ';OK'; and ';Close'; to get out of there.

Finally, go back to your browser and click Refresh to see if your IP has changed. Hopefully it has! If this didn't work for you, contact your ISP directly and ask them the process for obtaining a new IP address on their service.

Those are just some of the major issues when trying to change your IP address via the proxy server method. If you're still interested, you'll find a plethora of information about open proxies with a simple web search, but hopefully these warning are enough to steer you to the methods discussed above.
