Easy way to change IP address?

I have always heard about it, however never really understood how to change an IP. I have downloaded a few program and get lost in what to do. If any one could give a me a dummy guide on how to change IP, I would be very grateful :)Easy way to change IP address?

If you have static IP address then you can only to call your ISP and ask for another IP address or use proxy server.Easy way to change IP address?
open a DOS window on your PC. Depends on the operating system - if you have a run option, type command or cmd in the run box.



A black screen will open.



Type in IPConfig it should list your PC settings inculding your IP.



Type in IPRelease /all



then type in iprenew



a new ip should be sent down from your ISP
You need a static IP to change your IP address, in which case just log into your router and pick a new available one. otherwise you need an IP mask, If this just happens to be for file share hosts I recommend you download jdownloader which can automatically download your links and apply the mask.
You can't, why would you want to??? your IP is were your sever fines you %26amp; everybody has have one, the only is to move some were else.
To release and renew your IP address:



Go to ';Start %26gt; Run'; and type ';cmd'; (without quotation marks), then select ';OK';



Type ';ipconfig /release'; (without quotation marks) and press ';Enter';



Once the prompt returns, type ';ipconfig /renew'; (without quotation marks), then hit ';Enter,';



Last, type ';exit'; (without quotation marks) then press ';Enter'; to close the window.



Congrats, you now have a new IP address!
