How to change IP Using Bell?

Well i want to change my IP back to a specific ip that i had before it changed because i am using a dynamic ip. I am using a router called SpeedStream 6520 and i cant seem to change it back to the ip that i want. It is a Dynamic ip so i know i can change it but how do i go about putting it to a specified ip?

ThanksHow to change IP Using Bell?
Well, Dynamic, means the IP is assigned to you by the ISP using an AUTOMATIC assignment. You can try to change it but then it will not work. You have to use the IP assigned by the SYSTEM. If you unplug your modem wait about 8-12 hours and reconnect it, you will probably get a different IP.. but not one you pick, it will be another DYNAMICALLY assigned IP from the system! If you want a FIXED IP (also called STATIC) call bell and pay for one!How to change IP Using Bell?
The definition of a dynamic IP is one that changes as the ISP assigns it. You can't fix it from your end, your ISP has to do that. You can use a dynamic DNS service that will track it as it changes. There is a small background app they use to send them the IP address you are assigned every so often and they automatically update your DNS records for you.
