Change ip address with router? revised question?

i had a similar question before asking whether you could change your ip address for only one computer when two computers are connected by one router. i was told that i couldn't. so is it possible to change the ip address of both computer? if so, how? i can log onto the router's website.Change ip address with router? revised question?
I'm not sure if it's the same for you, but for a lot of people they can just reset or turn off their router for 1 minute and it automatically allocates a new IP address.

I do it all the time, so it's worth a shot.

Good luck xChange ip address with router? revised question?

We can change our ip address of one and even more than one pc, but that needs to be with same Network portions based on your router....

And u can login to routers website, but u need to collect the id and pwd from ur service provider
Both computers share ONE public IP Address == http://www.whatismyip.com/

=

The public address is assigned by your ISP to your broadband modem, not the router.

- -

Each computer has a private IP address, assigned by the router.

- PC Command Line:

- Click [Start] - Click [Run...] - enter: cmd, Click [OK]

- At the prompt (c:\.....%26gt;) enter: ipconfig all, press [ENTER]

- IP Address ..... xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx
You can manually specify the IP address'. Look up static IP address'
