How to change IP Address on Windows Vista With Netgear Router?

I have a Netgear 2.4G Router and I was wondering how I change my IP because I turned off my modem last night and it is still the same IP so if anyone knows how post a answer please. How to change IP Address on Windows Vista With Netgear Router?
You have to change the mac address on the router. After changing the mac address, power cycle both the router and the modem. Then turn on the modem first, followed by the router. This will force the modem to think the router is a new, different device, since no two devices have the same mac address. Therefore, with a ';different'; device plugged into the modem, your ISP's DHCP server will issue it a different ip address. Login to your router and look for a page where you can spoof, or change the mac address. How to change IP Address on Windows Vista With Netgear Router?
