How to change ip settings from Manual to Automatic?

I went to Panama and someone manually changed my ip settings now I'm back to the states and even though I can connect, I can't receive a signal or whatever. How do I fix this and set it back to how it was? Thanks!How to change ip settings from Manual to Automatic?
So you want it Automatic?

Go to your Network Connections %26gt;

Right click on the Connection and select properties



Under the ';General Tab'; and under the ';This connection uses the following items:'; groupbox

Scroll down until you find ';Internet Protocol (TCP/IP)';

select it and click on the properties button

Once the Internet Protocol properties loads, go ahead and select the ';Obtain an IP address automatically'; setting and click OK.

If you wanna set you ip address back to automatic, you need to open up control panel. click on network connections.

You will see there local area connection , right click on that and select properties. On the new window that opened, under the general tab, look for Internet Protocol (TCP/IP). Click on that and then select properties.

It will show there the configuration of your IP, please choose the first option which says: obtain an ip address automatically.
